Thanks to my dad, my love for hair started at a very young age. I guess you could say it's in the genes because my dad was a barber as a young man. I was drawn to his barbering kit and checked out the varying types of cutting tools which piqued my interest in cutting hair. I was amazed at how creative he was at mastering his shears while doing haircuts at our home. My mom had an at-home daycare business and I would use all the little girls as my "hair models" styling and braiding their hair. My mom made sure I had all the supplies I needed. It was from these childhood experiences that I decided to pursue the desire to make people look and feel their best.
I have been servicing clients in Natick & Framingham for over 30 years. I have spent the majority of my career in Natick and love it enough to call it my second home. Natick’s community is incredibly supportive of their local businesses and I’m proud to be a part of it.
My favorite service to do is transferring a basic brunette to WOW! I love the challenge of balancing the average color with dimensional highlights to create a trendy look while also keeping it looking natural. As you can imagine over a 30-year career, I have trained in many different cutting styles. I’ve learned how to combine the different techniques to create a personalized style for each of my clients.
I also love doing Thermafuse and Keratin Complex smoothing treatments. These products and treatments allow me to help my clients remain frizz free and reduce the bulk and volume of curly hair, making it easier to manage and style. I have the ability to customize these treatments to address each problem area. My certifications are in Goldwell and Redken colors as well as in Thermafuse & Keratin Complex treatments.
When you sit in my chair, the appointment is all about YOU! I take pride in my communication skills and am mindful of your likes and dislikes. I will give you my honest opinion during our consultation and will support you in all of your hair style desires while guiding you in the right direction. My experience in communicating with guests ensures that you will leave satisfied every time or have a strategic plan to work towards your desired look!
My business partner and I opened Taglio Salon in the summer of 2006. We always had the desire to go out on our own and run a salon in a way that we had never experienced before. The opportunity presented itself and we jumped at it, never looking back. We wanted to create an environment that is fun yet professional. We wanted people to feel like they were walking into a place that they can call their home. Allison and I know that we have provided that and more, for you.
